Excellent location, minutes away from the St. Pancras train station, underground and bus stops. Several supermarkets, restaurants, pubs (that serve Hawkstone), a Subway (which is my personal favourite sandwich stop) and convenience stores are just around the corner. Having said this, you are not disrupted by street noise etc. The staff is always polite and helpful. Unlike some other similar places in the area, this one has a reception and a clerk 24/7. The room was clean and tidy. After learning that I loved coffee, the housekeeping staff left an extra sachet every day and this is worthy of mentioning. I didn't care about the small room or the furniture as I was visiting for business and out all day and neither should you. After a long day of meetings and walking around all I wanted was a hot shower and a good sleep and they provided all, in spades. The clerk even secured my baggage after I checked out and until I collected them late in the afternoon.

Staff couldn’t be more welcoming and cheerful. The bedrooms were immaculately clean. Yes, the decor is dated but who cares when it’s so clean and comfy and such great value? I’m very fussy about cleanliness and towels were changed every day and not a bit of fluff anywhere. Those who have in the past whinged about the room decor and size should reflect on the excellent value and quality of people looking after them, coupled with a brilliant location right by the Eurostar. I would highly recommend.

Perfect location for travelling. Train and underground 5 minutes walk away and lots of food places around for something quick and surprising cheap. Not quite a destination stay if your looking at staying in the room or activities in that area as there isn't much around but its central for travel. If its just a base you then its perfect if your on a site seeing trip. The reception team are really nice and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would happily return here again

Perfect location near King's Cross, very modestly priced. My room was cosy, warm and safe, with a good shower, comfortable bed, decent wardrobe and amenities. The staff were friendly and I felt welcome. Perfect for a short business stay, I slept well. The hotel does not have a lift and the corridors are a little narrow, so large families with bulky luggage should bear that in mind. But for the price, can't fault it.

Didn't have breakfast as it is continental - not my choice, but looked good for what it was and value for money. Was easily able to find a place nearby offering full English. Comfortable bed. Room at front of hotel, so overlooked park opposite - nice view. Small but adequate bathroom. Good housekeeping. 24 hour reception - didn't have to take key out with me - something less to lose.
